can you install or play GGPO on the PS3

A computer is much more convenient than the PS3.

PS3 is purely designed for video games,while the GGPO requires your network must run well.

lol i dont really know anything about computers, but to me it makes sense.
i use a program called PS3 Media Server and it syncs my ps3 to files on my computer so that i can watch movies from my ps3.
if theres a program that lets you do that couldn't there be a way that you could sync ggpo to your ps3 as well?

off topic:
are you guys familiar with the online programs GArena and Hamachi?
i use to play wc3 on those programs to greatly reduce lag.
does ggpo work similarly to these other programs?
